Concepts

This page features the precepts and concepts described by Ramala Hubb’Allah through her frameworks and POV.

This page is under development. Detailed descriptions of the Key Concepts will open on the website soon.

Key Concepts

This is a library of the Key Concepts and Precepts that Shaykha Ramala Hubb’Allah uses in the body of her work, which she also calls her ‘universe’. Not all concepts are created by her; some are in fact her creation, some are defined by her in new ways, and others are adaptations and borrowing from diverse traditions but may be used peculiarly within her own body of work.

Note: These are not laid out in the order of priority.

Taqwa
[Arabic]

A circumspect way of living.

Words Make Worlds

Humans have the ability to construct new worlds and entities with words. (And ths is what ZIKR does.)

Relationing

All entities in this world are in a web of relationships. “Relationing” is Hubb’Allah-speak for relating intentionally to the beings and places around us, and the theory of what it is, what is entails.

Defragmentation of Consciousness

Consciousness requires frequent cleanup and streamlining!

Soul Content Formation

Humans can nourish, make and by the same destroy ‘soul content’. The making, keeping, enrichment of Soul is an active practice that can and must be undertaken deliberately.

Sadaqa
[Arabic]

System enrichment through “value-adding ‘pluses and minuses'”, carried out intentionally and to reduce harm and load in the atomic and collective lives of human beings.

Amr Bil Maroof, wa Nahi Anil Munkir
[Arabic]

This well-known precept in Islamic is often mistakenly treated as a fearsome punitive institution. Hubb’Allah interprets it as a social algorithm for maintaining the health of a system, practiced by all members of society of age and capacity.

Khalifah—Guardian
[Arabic]

Yet another deeply misunderstood and ill-appropriated concept in Islam, Khalifah is not just some mythic leader, but the word for ‘guardian’. In a cosmic sense, the human species is Khalifah, and its widest and most accessible interpretation, all humans are guardians of their own realms of influence and concern. Hubb’Allah’s teachings focus on the cosmic and the personal meaning, leaving the political out.

Life and Afterlife

‘Life’ is condensed in every Present Moment, and Afterlife is a name for (aggregate) Consequences. This teaching by Hubb’Allah focuses on seeing life both as flow, and a series of atomic moments, actions and decisions; and relates this logically to the construction of consequences, aka Afterlife.

Scriptures as Manuals

Scriptures are manuals about the understanding the nature, construction (design) and rules of Reality that we live in, and managing us humans’ atomic and molecular conduct within. They also deal with relationing, and the metaphysics and mathematics of Reality and our conduct within.

Humans are a Template of Convergent Consciousness

All beings are forms of Consciousness Convergence in a specific template or form; the template for humans is… human (Insaan in Arabic). Each specie or being is its own template. It is vital that humans understand what they are, and what does it entail.

Death is a Friend

Understanding and befriending death can help improve the quality of life, as death helps define the bottom-line and the deadline of the project called Life. Death is moment-by-moment, and also, an aggregate finality. (You can transport your consciousness to beyond this world, if you wish.)

Humans are Transformers

The human body “soaks in” patterns that it learns from objects around it, upon contact and sensing; it can then display those patterns in the human—thus leading to ‘transformations’ within. This not only brings into focus the awe-inspiring abilities within humans, but sensitize the watchful human about the need for quality inputs, and being mindful of what they take in through the senses and the wider field.

Qadr is Fluid & Interactive

Destiny is fluid and written in real time within the construct, but the rules of the construct have been written and are inviolable. Understanding the difference between fixed and variable destiny is critical.

World is a Construct

World, called “Dunya” in Arabic, is a construct with rules—just as in gaming or virtual reality which are, in fact, the mirrors of Reality. This (Dunya) is a serious game with inherent rules. This is a reality generated by a Creator Being and we are participating in it collectively, and atomically.

STAY TUNED.
