One way or the other, AI is becoming part of our lives, it is now widely released, it is training itself, and the robots are exercising, learning skills, undertaking deployments. Not so long ago, my mental model of dealing with AI was to run off to a remote location and shut myself off.
In my own arguably diseased and weakened nation, information technology has now spread all over, because we are seeing info-tech as a savior and a panacea, using IT to potentially make groundbreaking income, though my view differs. I would like to remind people that the quantum of organic and soul matter may be declining in the world if we do not introduce urgent and intense caretaking and regeneration of Earth. When the soul matter declines, all life-giving and prosperity-generating things and beings become less potent, and potentially atrophy.
That said, I have recently begun engaging AI to learn a few things about it, and test some ideas and tiny projects, centered around image generation in particular.
I believe we humans need to learn about it quickly and learn to engage and master it, and also, ask ourselves why we need the technology in the first place when the vast human potential remains untapped and it is human intelligence and connection we need to have been honoring instead.
So I have a contrarian view, I dabble in both the YAY and NAY side; this way, you gain insight, power and knowledge and know what you are getting into or away from. This is helpful until groups organize to take positions with larger participants within.
My teachings on How To Train Your AI are designed to give humans a handle over and familiarity over the technology, understand its mechanics, and then take that learning home and learn more about Self and God which, in my work, is always the ultimate project. I balance the practical with the eternal!
