Ramala believes in keeping one foot in the here & now of the human story, and the other in eternity. Sense & Sensibility is the nascent collection of her thoughts and writing spanning subjects eternal to contemporary. The common thematic is the loving heart of a mystic that wants to see the world more just, beautiful, loving, prosperous and kind. Amen.
~ a Quest for Beauty: Long ago in 2004, Ramala Hubb’Allah started a dainty little blog named “a Quest for Beauty, a Lust for Life!”, with no care back then for the copyrighted name she picked from a beloved movie about a beloved artist as those were the heady, innocent days of naive blogging. (Oops!) This was a blog about love, life, art, spirit and the visions of beauty by a loving-kind spirit. Far ahead of time, Ramala envisioned a world of love, beauty, care, concern, social duty and family ties. She also envisioned a future for humankind, the inner dimension of which was featured in ”a Quest for Beauty” and the outer dimension of which became a separate blog, “NEXT> by Ramla”, using her then name spelling.
Twenty years later, it is a surprise that the blog and its teachings still seem needed by the world. This book (print and e-book) is a plucking of the finest of the writings.
Note: Still in planning stages, this may actually become several topical books. There is certainly a separate book of poems.
