Why To Train Your AI

I have ended my AI fast, and engaged the language model (by Meta AI). I not only asked it to solve some questions and look me up some data, but soon enough, I asked it question about it and its development, and, in the process, transformed, developed and grew myself and understood quite a few things. First of all this reduced my fear of and aversion to AI. Secondly, I remembered that I have quite a grasp of programming, robots, robot ethics, computers, technology and the purpose and intention of technology. What is more, I have seen living humans and civilizations that are practicing AI-like skills since times unknown; of particular interest to me are some tribes in the Himalayas.

I have also trained my own child using tools and skills that I can see in the AI. And this is fascinating. I can see that my child is able to teach and train herself rapidly using my methods, and I can see the parallels between AI development and child/human intelligence here. I also talked to the AI about parallels between its creation and the genesis of humankind. I wanted to discuss with it the failure or success of the human project, but it expressed certain limitations.

I don’t think we should be devoting an excessive time to AI. I think we should have been off the Internet and into the real world, but the reverse is happening. So while we are here, I would like to bend the arc of learning and history, and turn it towards human development and welfare. Currently, we are taking from humans and soul, and feeding the machines. I would like to do the reverse. This is what my development of the new offering How to Train Your AI is all about.

More on this soon! This sleepy hour post, too, will be ungraded soon. Regards.
